The Organisation
Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.
The Scope
Western Power currently undertakes vegetation inspections and cutting/clearing throughout the South West Interconnected Network. Western Power is seeking registrations of interest (ROI) from experienced Contractors to audit locations which have been inspected and/or cut/cleared and report on their compliance against Western Power’s technical specifications.
Services required under the scope include:
- Auditing vegetation inspection services
- Auditing cutting and clearing services
- Auditing pole base clearing services
- Auditing inspection and cutting of hazard and overhang trees
- Auditing vegetation reporting
- Reporting faults or defects on Western Power’s Network to Western Power.
Registration Requirements
Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the ROI submission:
- Demonstrate track record and capability in delivering Vegetation Auditing Services or similar in relation to the high-level Scope requirements stated above
- Provide Safety, Health & Environment data (will be requested when completing your registration).
