We're seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide Commercial Cleaning Services across its metropolitan and regional locations.

Scope of Services 

The Commercial Cleaning Services required are categorised into four (4) distinct types:

  1. Planned (PPM): Scheduled cleaning to maintain cleanliness standards at all facilities.
  2. Specialised: Periodic cleaning requiring specialist equipment or techniques.
  3. Reactive: Ad-hoc and emergency cleaning requests with strict response timeframes.
  4. Consumables supply and restocking: Continuous availability and replenishment of consumables at all sites.

Key Objectives

  • Deliver comprehensive cleaning services that supports the health, safety and wellbeing of all facility users.
  • Services to be inclusive of the supply and management of cleaning and hygiene consumables.
  • Minimise disruption to operational and business critical activities.
  • Provide emergency response and reactive cleaning services whereby resources can be deployed during and outside normal business hours.

Requirements

  • Provide suitably skilled, trained and competent personnel to deliver the services (security clearances may apply for Western Power’s critical sites).
  • Supply and maintain all necessary equipment and approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records, including but not limited to chemical registers, inspection reports and personnel registers; supported by appropriate technology solutions for service delivery and quality assurance.
  • Comply with all relevant Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards and Western Power’s policies and procedures.
  • Integrate with Western Power’s mandatory systems for job management, reporting and accounting.
  • The Contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, materials and resources necessary to carry out the services.

Location(s)

Western Power maintains (29) metropolitan and regional depots across the South West Integrated System (SWIS), located from Geraldton in the north to Albany in the south, extending east to Kalgoorlie and throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

Contractors wishing to express interest should provide a brief overview of the following, this will form the evaluation criteria;

  • Company profile and relevant experience.
  • Capability Statement addressing the four (4) service categories in the Scope of Services.
  • Evidence of compliance with safety, regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Proposed approach to meeting Western Power’s Key Objectives and Requirements.

Clarification

The provision of Commercial Cleaning Services may be allocated to varying Contractors at Western Power’s discretion, based on location, workforce availability and other operational considerations.
