Western Power has received and considered the findings of the independent investigation conducted by MinterEllison into the actions of three employees who provided character references for a former employee convicted of serious criminal offences.
Following a thorough investigation, careful consideration of the findings and appropriate employment processes, the three individuals involved no longer work for the business.
The investigation found conduct that was inconsistent with our values, Code of Conduct and the standards we expect of everyone at Western Power.
Western Power remains committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace, and supporting the wellbeing of its employees. As part of this commitment, Western Power has commissioned an independent cultural review by leading experts Intersection. This review is currently underway.
