We're seeking a OT Software Developer with experience in Operational Technology (OT) Systems for a brand-new permanent opportunity within our operational technology team. Your Role in Action

 

  • Deliver real-time software solutions that enable our mission-critical control systems (SCADA) ensuring safe, reliable, and affordable energy for WA.
  • Collaborate with a passionate OT team on cyber security, control systems, and development frameworks to tackle complex technical challenges head-on.
  • Drive innovation by identifying smarter, faster ways to design software, boost efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
  • Champion software design excellence, sharing your expertise in programming, testing, and OT best practices.
  • Provide system support, maintenance, and configuration for real-time operational technology systems.
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with technical subject matter experts and stakeholders, ensuring service levels are maintained and project deliverables remain on track.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

 

  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages.
  • Experience working within complex IT/OT environments, ideally at scale.
  • Solid understanding of software support services - no need to know our niche systems; we’ll support your learning.
  • Knowledge of configuration management, release management and incident management.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to refine software design, development, and service delivery.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

 

Highly Desirable

 

  • Experience with the GE PowerOn Advantage product suite
