We’re looking for a Senior Workforce Planning Specialist to join our growing People team in a permanent opportunity. You’ll lead strategic workforce planning across the business - guiding complex programs and providing critical insight to ensure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.

You’ll play a key role in driving strategic workforce planning across complex programs, helping us unlock insight, anticipate change, and stay one step ahead.
Your Role in Action
- Shape and evolve our Strategic Workforce Plan - take ownership of its design, refresh, and governance, along with key workforce planning initiatives that bring it to life.
- Lead the way in enterprise-wide workforce planning by designing and embedding a consistent model, including tools, frameworks, and processes used across all of Western Power.
- Turn insight into action - proactively monitor plans, performance, and workforce risks across the business to identify practical, forward-thinking strategies that support our long-term goals.
- Deliver workforce insights that matter, aligning with key corporate planning cycles such as strategy development, annual reporting, budgeting, and business planning.
- Leverage workforce data to drive decisions - bring clarity and depth to business conversations by analysing internal trends and external market shifts.
- Be the trusted expert on all things strategic workforce planning - the go-to person for navigating complex challenges and unlocking effective solutions.
- Build strong partnerships across the business, engaging leaders and stakeholders at all levels to champion the planning process and ensure solutions are embedded and embraced.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in strategic workforce planning within complex environments.
- Skilled in developing and implementing planning systems, tools, and processes.
- Analytical mindset with ability to turn workforce data into meaningful insights to influence decisions
- Confident communicator & creative thinker – able to lead complex projects & bring ideas to life
- Effective at leading change and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
