Senior Emergency Intelligence, Insights and Assurance Analyst – Permanent Full Time | Perth CBD Office

 

Join us and help power a cleaner energy future. We’re seeking a skilled analyst to lead emergency management analytics, insights and assurance. Turning complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives decision-making, readiness and improvement across our organisation.

 

Your Role in Action 

 

  • Analysis and interpret emergency event and readiness data
  • Lead post-incident reviews and lessons learned programs
  • Identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Support operational readiness identifying risks, capability gaps and improvement opportunities through both qualitive and quantitative analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and situational awareness tools (e.g. WebEOC)
  • Provide intelligence for proactive decision-making
  • Deliver high-quality reports and insights for senior leaders
  • Coordinate after-action reviews, ensuring findings are integrated into broader improvement and assurance frameworks.
  • Support training for staff on emergency data platforms, reporting tools, and lessons processes.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • A seasoned professional with extensive range of knowledge and expertise gained through at least 8 to 10 years in Business Improvement or Analyst positions.
  • Tertiary level qualification in Business Management, Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL).
  • Proven ability to analyse and explain the drivers behind performance thresholds providing meaningful insights to support understanding and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly and concisely.
  • Strategic thinking with proven problem-solving ability
  • Experience in process improvement and training delivery
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar models.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, or regulated industries would be advantageous.
