Major Customer Connections Manager - Permanent Full Time / Perth CBD Office
Western Power is seeking a highly motivated Major Customer Connections Manager to join our team at our Perth CBD office.
As the energy sector accelerates toward decarbonisation, major customers are increasingly seeking grid connections to support renewables and electrification. This surge in demand, driven by both State Government and industry coal retirement commitments, is shaping the future of our transmission network and informing the scope of our Clean Energy Link Program.
In this critical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for managing complex connection projects across both transmission and distribution networks. This includes supporting new transmission load and generators, major distribution connections, and the relocation of existing transmission infrastructure.
You’ll lead the end-to-end connections process—overseeing strategy development, process design, customer engagement, contract negotiation, and relationship management with some of WA’s largest energy users. Your work will directly influence the pace and success of Western Australia's energy transition.
If you're passionate about delivering energy solutions that enable decarbonisation and economic growth, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, we’d love to hear from you.
