We are seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic and motivated individuals keen to be considered for future Business Traineeship opportunities at Western Power.
About the Traineeship
While this is not a current vacancy, registering your interest now means you'll be among the first to hear when our next Business Traineeship Program opens. This 12-month program provides an entry-level pathway into Western Power, combining hands-on experience with formal training to complete a Certificate III in Business.
This opportunity is ideal for recent school leavers — particularly those who left school within the past two years.
What We Look For
Successful future candidates will typically demonstrate:
- Some experience in a customer service or administrative role (paid, school-based, or volunteer)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A willingness to learn, with a reliable and punctual attitude
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Minimum C grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent
- Residency in Western Australia and status as an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willingness to provide a National Police Clearance
