Business Trainee – Entry-Level Opportunity (12-Month Maximum Term)

Based at one of our Perth locations, this full-time traineeship offers hands-on experience and a nationally accredited Certificate III in Business. Ideal for recent school leavers ready to take the first step into the workforce

 

Your Role in Action  

  • Complete a Certificate III in Business while gaining practical experience
  • Provide administrative support across various business units
  • Assist with data entry, document management, and reporting tasks
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Learn and apply safety, operational, and technical procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and business goals
  • Participate in development workshops and mentoring sessions
  • Uphold Western Power’s values and contribute to a positive workplace culture

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

  • Recently completed Year 11 or Year 12, or graduated in 2023 or 2024.
  • Some experience (paid, volunteer, or school-based) in admin or customer service
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn, reliable, and punctual
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Minimum C grades in Year 10 English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Reside in WA and be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
