Asset Strategy Engineer: SCADA & Telecommunications – Permanent Full Time – Perth CBD
Join us as an Asset Strategy Engineer (SCADA & Telecommunications) in our Perth CBD office. You’ll play a key role in shaping the long-term performance of critical network assets by applying best practice asset management strategies. From defining maintenance standards to assessing asset health and managing risk, your work will ensure reliability and efficiency across the network.
Your Role in Action
Document best practice asset management standards
Contribute technical solutions, technical advice and problem solving on the nominated asset(s)
Report upon asset risks and regulatory obligations
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the management of asset(s)
Prepare asset strategies for and contribute to the development of asset management plans
Prepare prudent and efficient work plans and routine business cases for capital expenditure and operations and maintenance expenditure
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve asset and works program performance objectives
Analyse asset condition data for appropriateness and use that asset condition data to influence asset strategies
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor of engineering - preferably in electrical, electronic or telecommunications engineering.
Eligible for Professional Engineer membership (MIEAust) with Engineers Australia
Experience with SCADA and / or telecommunications assets
Financial analysis skills
Stakeholder management skills and results oriented
