Our apprenticeships are delivered by nationally accredited trainers, combining on-the-job and off-the-job training through our registered training organisation (RTO) and TAFEWA.

Electrical Apprenticeship

Work towards obtaining a Nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Industrial Electrician (MEM31219) which includes meeting the requirements for an electrical license. You’ll develop skills and knowledge in how to select, set up and install, test, fault-find, and repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and industrial environments. Nominal term for this qualification is 48 months 

A Western Power apprentice electrician holds the same qualification as a household electrician;. However they typically work in substations and other network assets. 

Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical or Auto-Electrical Technology

Work towards obtaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology - Whether you’re passionate about mechanics, or curious about auto-electrical systems, this apprenticeship offers solid foundation for a rewarding career in the transport and logistics industry. You’ll learn the skills to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of heavy vehicles and mobile plant equipment.   

Lineworker Apprenticeship

Work towards obtaining a Nationally recognised Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Overhead (UET30621) which includes gaining knowledge in areas such as installation, maintenance and inspection of poles and structures, and associated hardware used. Nominal term for this qualification is 48 months. 

Cable Jointer Apprenticeship

Work towards obtaining a Nationally recognised Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Underground (UET30821) which includes gaining knowledge in the laying, installation, and maintenance of low and high voltage underground electrical cables and electrical equipment. Nominal term for this qualification is 48 months.
