WS2833103969 - Network Renewal Underground Program (NRUP)

The Scope

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for undergrounding of the Western Power network as part of our future retrospective underground program.

These works are predominately in the metropolitan area and contracting partners will be required to provide end-to-end delivery capability including the project management, planning, labour, equipment and provision of materials necessary for the safe and efficient execution of the works.

Contractors shall deliver the following work categories for the program:

Underground cable and distribution equipment installation;
Underground consumer mains installation and connection;
Streetlight installation and connection;
Distribution overhead line removal and salvage;
Distribution overhead network interface connection;
Network access and switching;
Earthing installation;
Testing and commissioning; and
Stakeholder communications.

Registration Requirements

Suppliers are required to respond to the ROI submission as follows:

Demonstrate ability and expertise to meet scope requirements;
Demonstrate relevant track record and capability in delivering the scope to an electricity utility’s network;
Provide details of current Safety, Health and Environmental Management System;
