We're now installing advanced meters for all new and replacement meters across the network.
By 2022 we will have over 490,000 meters on our network. Most will be installed across the Perth metropolitan area and the regional centres of Albany, Bunbury, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie.

If a home has an advanced meter installed, we receive an alert if there are unusual patterns in the electricity flows. This could indicate a possible fault on the service connection to a property.
If we get an alert, we'll send a crew out to investigate to make sure your home’s electrical connection is safe.
