Use this form if you want to install, remove or relocate metering equipment that is above standard supply. 

How long will it take?

  • 3 weeks to provide you with a quote
  • 10 weeks for construction

We will provide you with a quote, as the new power meter price can vary based on meter type.  

What will I need to complete this application?

What if I change my mind or want to cancel my application?

Sometimes your circumstances change and you may need to cancel or change the information within your application after you have submitted it to us.

If you wish to change the scope of work in your application we will first review the change and then either:

  • continue the project with the variation and invoice you for any additional materials, design work and remobilisation costs incurred. We will typically only take this approach when the change is very minor.


  • if the change is significant we will cancel your project. You will need to submit a new application with your new requirements.

For cancelled applications we will invoice you for the costs incurred up to the point of cancellation (time and materials). If construction work has already commenced we will refund the difference from your access offer less any costs incurred.

  • Metropolitan

    Please download and complete the meter request notice - metropolitan and present to your local distribution outlet to collect your meter/s.

  • Regional

    In regional areas with no distribution outlet, please complete and fax the meter request notice - non metropolitan to Western Power meter services on (08) 9225 2654 and we will arrange delivery of the meter/s to you. 

  • Distribution outlets

    Please download and complete the meter order form to place orders for additional metering stock.

Once you’ve received confirmation of your Western Power meter upgrade or change, your meter/s can be collected in person from one of the distribution outlets below.
