Electricity is part of our everyday lives - and it’s easy to become complacent around it. But electricity is by its very nature hazardous, and we are committed to educating the Western Australian community on electrical safety.
Our Schools Education Program encourages safe practices from an early age, to ensure a lifetime of positive behaviors.
Our program captures four key concepts:
- Understanding how electricity works
- The dangers of electricity
- How to stay safe around electricity both inside and outside the home
- Raising awareness of Western Power's network
