Western Power crews work to restore power

Western Power crews are working to restore power to about 16,000 customers, after last night's wild weather.

The South West suffered the worst damage to the network, with about 5,000 customers losing power in Manjimup and Bridgetown.

There were numerous faults in the Perth Metro area, but most have been attended to. There are less than 400 people without power in the Metro area.

Western Power crews have been working through the night in wet and windy conditions to restore electricity to people's homes.
