Senior Project Delivery Specialist – Permanent Full Time – Perth CBD

 

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Delivery Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering & Design team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in driving the successful delivery of key projects and programs. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing performance, driving continuous improvement, and providing expert guidance to ensure project success.

 

Your Role in Action  

 

As the Senior Project Delivery Specialist role, you are accountable for driving and supporting the effective and efficient delivery and successful execution of programs and projects. This will be achieved through the in-depth analysis of the performance of end-to-end delivery, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and provision subject matter expert advice and guidance.

 

You will also be accountable for driving core program and project responsibilities including resource management, reporting, project governance, project management methodologies and framework and analysis to ensure alignment with Western Power’s Frameworks. 

 

Your comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience (minimum of 5 years) with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional will be put to the test by:

 

  • Configuring and customising Primavera P6 environments to meet complex project management requirements.
  • Implementing robust project scheduling and planning strategies using advanced P6 functionalities.
  • Inputting and managing resource and cost loadings.
  • Creating and maintaining sophisticated project templates, baselines, and performance measurement benchmarks.
  • Performing system administration, including user management, security configuration, and data integrity controls.
  • Conduct comprehensive project portfolio analyses and generate detailed management reports.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline.
  • Industry accreditation in planning and or project management principles, either PMBOK®, Prince2™, P3O™, MSP™
  • Broad and extensive knowledge and expertise in portfolio, programme, and project management and or delivery, with experience within government regulated and/or engineering sectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation as well as with external suppliers / providers.
  • A seasoned professional with demonstrated success in developing effective program and project management frameworks.
  • Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, complimented by highly developed influencing skills.
  • Ability to align detail orientated tasks with the "big picture" and communicates accordingly.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, attention to details and business acumen
