Your Role in Action  

 

  • Responsible for safety in the work environment and ensure safe work practises are followed and a safe work environment maintained
  • Responsible for ensuring that the teams are meeting the required performance each day, in the completion of work; maintaining open communication with team members and stakeholders
  • Receive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation
  • Ensure prompt attendance to faults and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impact
  • Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable and affordable operation of the network
  • Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards
  • Assist with building team capability and providing and sharing technical knowledge and experience to others within the team of lesser experience

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

 

  • Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network
  • Demonstrated industry experience in leading operational teams in the construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network
  • Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing
  • Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support
  • Minimum MR license
