At our Geraldton depot, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing Western Power's fleet of heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery. Your role will include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on road transport vehicles and plant
- Ensuring all equipment is kept in peak working condition to support operations.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Base Trade qualification (AQF3) in either Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, Mechanical Fitter or Welding
- High Risk licence class Forklift
- Valid WA ‘HR’ and/or ‘HC’ Driver’s License (as required)
- Relevant Network Authorisation including Basic Emergency Life Support (must be obtained within the first month of employment)
- Demonstrated industry experience as a Mechanical Tradesperson
- Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 35 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level
- Intermediate Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
