This is an exciting opportunity for a Lineworker on a Permanent Full Time Basis at our Kalgoorlie Depot.
Kalgoorlie is located in the Goldfields–Esperance region of Western Australia, located 595 km east-northeast of Perth at the end of the Great Eastern Highway. Kalgoorlie was founded on the hopes and dreams of the fortune seekers who flocked here in the late 1800s, and its grand heritage buildings stand testament to more than a century of gold rush history.

About this role
You will be required to:
- Construct and maintain the distribution electricity network in a team environment.
- Maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner.
- Ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers within the applicable guidelines and regulations.
- Rectify faults promptly and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impact.
- Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network.
- Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards. Deal with day-to-day technical issues that can arise, on site, relating to design and construction issues.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Certificate III in ESI – Power System Distribution Overhead – essential
- Valid WA ‘HR’ Class Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
- HOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essential.
