Fleet Inspection & Commissioning Officer – Permanent Full Time / Kewdale WA
In this role, you will be required to carry out and coordinate periodical third party inspections and commissioning on all Western Power fleet units and external customer fleet.
Your Role in Action
- Inspect and commission fleet units into service against the required standard and specification.
- Take accountability for safety in the operational work environment and ensure safe work practices and a safe work environment is maintained at all times.
- Provide advanced mechanical technical expertise to tradespersons customers and subcontract repairers.
- Develop and manage yearly inspection schedule.
- Maintain up to date inspection and training records.
- Considers the consequences for other operational areas or teams before committing to decisions and undertakes risk assessment where potential impact is recognised.
- Ensures operational requirements and standards are met through own contribution and that of others as required.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- AQF 3 Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence Class ‘HR’
- Crane Licence C2
- EWP Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Dogging Licence
- Network Card
- Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate
- Experience in repair and maintenance of cranes, EWP’s and Forklifts
