Country services
The country SWIS is divided into four regions, as shown in the map below. A dedicated Western Power Country Services Coordinator looks after each region:
- Eastern
- Great Southern
- Northern
- South West
At a local level, our Country Services Coordinators play a hands-on role providing the following services:
- Represent the interests of country customers within Western Power
- Provide information to the community on network improvements
- Identify and address emerging issues that may affect country customers
- Provide updates during widespread power interruptions and/or persistent faults
- Liaise with key players including shires, industry bodies, government agencies, development commissions and community groups
- Provide information to schools, business groups and industry forums
- Attend country shows, field days and community events to answer questions and provide feedback to the community
- Provide assistance to community events and programs through sponsorships and donations.
