Western Power is a statutory corporation established by the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 (WA) (Act). It is owned by the State Government of Western Australia and is accountable to the Minister for Energy (Minister).
The Corporation's accountability requirements in the Statement of Corporate Intent (SCI) are agreed annually with the Minister. The SCI outlines our objectives, major activities and performance targets for a financial year. These targets are consistent with the Government's policy and budgetary requirements.
