Finance & Risk Committee

The role of the Finance & Risk Committee is to assist the Board in meeting its oversight responsibilities in relation to Western Power’s:

  • financial reporting;
  • application of accounting policies;
  • financial management and treasury function;
  • internal control;
  • risk management and compliance systems; and
  • the internal and external audit function.

The committee is to maintain free and open communication with the WA Auditor General, the internal auditors and the management of Western Power.
