The 2008 Western Power Charity Link Christmas Appeal aims to ensure there is a smile on every child's face on Christmas morning and that all Western Australians can enjoy a complete Christmas meal.
Last year the Christmas Appeal provided more than 10,000 individuals with a Christmas meal and 6,826 WA children with up to three new toys each. Yet with increasing costs of living pushing many families to the edge, we expect to help even more people in 2008.
Charity Link is a collaborative charity organisation that undertakes several annual appeals on behalf of 110 charities throughout WA. By working together they're able to help more West Australians in need, reduce administration costs and ensure every contribution goes further.
Western Power is a major sponsor of Charity Link, contributing $70,000 to the winter appeal and $30,000 to the Christmas Appeal.
