Online authorisation

People seeking to transport high loads must obtain authorisation before commencing the journey from the relevant electricity network operator, which is Western Power throughout the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).

The SWIS encompasses the Perth metropolitan area and the south west of Western Australia, from Kalbarri in the north, to Kalgoorlie in the east and south to Albany. Western Power has developed an online system , making it easier and faster for people to apply for authorisation.
