Banjup/Wandi strategic land purchase
A review of our load projections has shown that a zone substation is not required in the Banjup/Wandi area for at least fifteen years. As such, it is no longer our intention to build a substation on this site.
Forrestdale Zone substation
A recent review of Western Power's load projections has shown that a zone substation is not required in Forrestdale for at least five to ten years. As such, the proposed 132 kV transmission line is also no longer necessary.
Hazelmere Zone substation
Western Power has completed the construction of the Hazelmere Zone substation.

Western Power has completed upgrade works to the 132,000 volt (132 kV) transmission line in Lathlain, Carlisle, Welshpool and Queens Park.
South-west 330kV network upgrade
Western Power is proposing to reconstruct the existing 132 kV transmission line between the Perth metropolitan area and Collie (via Boddington), to become a new 165 km, 330 kV transmission line from Collie to the Perth metro area.
Wangara Zone substation
Western Power has completed the construction of the Wangara Zone substation, which caters for current and future growth in Perth's rapidly expanding northern suburbs and provides a more reliable power supply for existing residents and businesses.
Willetton substation
Western Power has completed the construction of the Willeton substation in Canning Vale, which now provides the area with a reliable supply of electricity.
