South-west 330kV network upgrade
As part of our regular review of load projections and forecast planning for the Western Power Network, we are required to review all projects to ensure the reliability and security of our network. A recent review of our load projections has shown that Western Power’s proposal to reconstruct the existing 132kV transmission line between the Perth metropolitan area and Collie (via Boddington), to become a 165km, 330kV transmission line, is not required for at least ten years.
We thank you for your patience, and will continue to update the community as we gather information for the future of this project.
