The Network Operations and Control Centre (NOCC) forms part of the System Management Division and manages the operation of the distribution network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Electrical systems safety procedures
Electrical System Safety Rules (ESSR) (PDF 2.8 Mb - added 29 May 2012)
These procedures outline the minimum electrical safety standards for switching and accessing our transmission and distribution networks.
Note: Where inconsistencies exist, the ESSR takes precedence over the safety manual and switching operators manual.
