Tariffs are adjusted annually and published for each financial year, becoming effective from 1 July each year.
Generators and customers connected to the South West Interconnected System prior to 1 July 2001 are eligible for "transition tariffs", as well as the standard tariffs, and may choose between the two until 30 June 2009 (from 1 July 2009 the "transition tariffs" will no longer be available). All other network users are eligible for the standard tariffs only.
The 2008/09 Price List was approved by the ERA on 8 May 2008. The detail of the ERA's price determination is available at the ERA's website.
