Ministerial request

The Minister for Energy, Francis Logan asked Western Power to review the agricultural economic impacts of both options 4 and 10 in more detail as these options scored very closely in the original sustainability assessment.

To facilitate this, Western Power requested that SKM and Landgate (formerly the Valuer General's Office (VGO)) undertake a review to identify land use and potential land use and assess both options 4 and 10 in terms of their relative land values. Landgate has confirmed that there is a direct relationship between land value and the agricultural economic return for that land.
