Lucky young netballers at Denmark Primary and High Schools received star treatment in last week from West Coast Fever stars Stacey Rosman and Andrea Gilmore as part of the Western Power country day.
The event provided opportunities to engage with the Denmark community through netball and provide sustainability through sport.
To encourage students and their families to make a few simple steps to become more energy wise, students at the netball clinics were given compact fluorescent light globes and energy wise tips.
The Western Power netball program, which has been sponsored by Western Power since 1997, enables Netball WA to provide clinics in country towns with a focus on fun and participation with the aim of getting more kids excited about and involved in sport.
