Compensation for damage

If you experience loss or damage due to a power interruption or surge, you may be eligible for compensation. 

We investigate every claim to determine the cause of the interruption or surge; however we will only compensate customers for loss or damage caused by our negligence.

How to claim

Complete the customer damage report form (PDF 60kb) and send it to:

If you experience a long power interruption (for 12 consecutive hours or more) you may be eligible for a payment under the Extended Outage Payment Scheme.
