Western Power unloads for winter warmth

Release Date: 03 June 2008

Western Power is gearing up for this year’s Charity Link Winter Appeal by helping unload 8,000 blankets into Charity Link’s Northbridge warehouse where it will store the blankets until Charity Link can distribute them to other charity groups this winter.

Western Power’s involvement with Charity Link began in 2004 and since then it has donated over $330,000 to the Western Power Charity Link Winter and Christmas appeals.

Western Power’s Managing Director, Mr Doug Aberle said the business’ support of Charity Link was more than just a financial contribution.

“Our staff are proud to not only give financial assistance but to also give up their time as well.”
