North Perth power interruption (has been restored)

1:44pm update - Power has been resotred.
Western Power reports a major power interruption out of its North Perth substation. There is currently no power being transmitted from the substation and approximately 10,000 properties are without power.
Western Power crews are on their way to the site and plan to have power supplies restored by 2pm. However, should they discover significant damage to equipment restoration could take longer.
A further update will be provided when more information is available.
The suburbs affected include parts of Mt Hawthorn, Glendalough, North Perth, West Perth, Morley and Wembley.
