Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group
Western Power is a core sponsor of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group (KBULG). The KBULG has conserved and established native vegetation in the Goldfields for nearly 30 years. The KBULG takes an innovative approach to landcare with an emphasis on community involvement and education, its current projects and activities include:
- Karlkurla Bushland Park
- Promoting low water use gardens
- Annual community tree planting day
- Goldfields Environment Month
